COF CREATIVE Arts Associate

 

Reports to: Campus Pastor   

 

Position Status: Full-Time

 

Department: Communications 

 

Community of Faith is seeking a full-time Creative Arts Associate to develop engaging content for both internal and external audiences. 

 

The Creative Arts Associate will assist all ministry teams with creating engaging print and digital media content consistent with the long-term marketing goals and vision of Community of Faith. 

 

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic team player who is passionate about clearly communicating the overwhelming love of Jesus. 

 

Responsibilities include

  1. Film, edit, and produce videos for use during weekend services.

  2. Attend weekly creative staff meetings to determine marketing concepts for upcoming events. 

  3. Attend all COF hosted events to capture engagement using DSLR and cinema cameras.   

  4. Collaborate with the COF Creative Team to create graphic content for ministry teams, weekend services, web graphics, sermon series, and special events. 

 

Qualifications for this role:

  1. Experience working for a church congregation is preferred but not required. 

  2. Has expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, motion graphic software, and Apple Final Cut Pro. 

  3. Forward thinking, innovative and able to creatively translate broad concepts, ideas, and messages into engaging visual and interactive expressions for print, digital, and social platforms. 

  4. Has expertise using a DSLR camera and cinema camera. 

  5. Strong ethical standards; ability to create trust and integrity with co-workers, volunteers, and community.

  6. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.

  7. Good organizational skills and able to manage a variety of tasks.

  8. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. 

  9. Administrative, attentive to detail, and able to maintain records and produce clear reports.  

  10. Able to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations. 

  11. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, but also able to work independently. 

  12. Strong problem solving skills. 

  13. The ability to deal with information in a confidential manner and respond with sensitivity. 

 

Education

Associates or bachelors degree desired and/or 2+ years related experience.
