Cypress Assistance Ministries is a faith-based organization that serves individuals and families in financial crisis, those on the brink of homelessness, the elderly, the unemployed. Volunteers will be organizing and sorting food and clothing donations for the pantry and resale shop.
Foster Family is a COF foster family caring for teen girls in Carmine (near Brenham). The family provides love and builds confidence for a bright future. Volunteers will be helping with pasture work on the property.
Interfaith Houston @ COF / virtual works to build respect, understanding and service among people of different faiths, and those of no particular faith. Volunteers will be gathering at COF or at home to make birthday phone calls to homebound seniors, hospice patients, and those with disabilities.
Miracle Farm is a one-of-a-kind ranch in Brenham that helps struggling young men experience healing, earn an education, and learn respect. Volunteers will be working on campus projects including gardening, fence repair, and upkeep.
Mission of Yahweh is a shelter in northwest Houston for women and children experiencing homelessness. They provide safety, job training, and case management to get families back on their feet. Volunteers will be prepping and cleaning up the campus for spring.
Our Daughter’s House provides a community of support for young women who have aged out of the foster care system. Volunteers will be prepping the campus near Brenham for spring with gardening and campus work.
The Landing is a ministry supporting survivors of sex trafficking. They run a drop in center in southwest Houston and youth advocacy program. Volunteers will be creating a new, welcoming drop in center family room with a makeover.
