A CHURCH THAT WOULD GO TO ANY
LENGTH TO TELL A PERSON THAT GOD LOVES
THEM AND HAS A PLAN FOR THEIR LIFE?
Imagine a church that is radically committed to living out the heart of God in their relationships, homes, neighborhoods, jobs, city and around the world. That’s Community of Faith. Whether you’re spiritually restless, discontent, new at discovering who God is, or you are a veteran of the faith, you’re welcome here.
Starting point is a class designed for you to learn more about the history of Community of Faith, who we are, and what it means for you. In this class, you will be walked through what it looks like to be an active member of this community and present you with ways you can get involved by volunteering. Oh, and, not to mention, there will be free food and a shirt.
Classes are offered every first and third Sunday of the month at 10:30AM.
We'll save a seat just for you in service immediately following Starting Point.
We know walking through the doors of a new church for the first time is enough to send most people over the edge. Don’t worry. We’ve been there and know that taking that first step is a big deal and can feel a little awkward. We believe that God really cares about people so we try to go out of our way to do that too. We want to make sure that your first experience is the absolute best it can be.
The heart of our church isn’t confined to the walls of our church.
When Mark & Laura Shook returned from the mission field to start Community of Faith in 2003, they had one simple purpose:
“Love God. Love Others. Serve the World.”
The church built an orphanage in Costa Rica before it built a building, and missions has shaped every aspect of Community of Faith since its inception.
At Community of Faith we believe that the world’s greatest sermons are lived rather than preached. We are to be God’s hands, his feet, and his heartbeat in the world. Jesus is our example and he gave us a very clear blueprint to follow.
